USG sought to creatively launch a new sponsorship platform that would not only support the brand strategy, but infuse excitement and pride into the hearts and minds of USG’s internal and external audiences.

To do this, USG brought key brand stakeholders to Colorado Springs, home of the USOC’s training center, to immerse them in the platform. To publicly unveil the new sponsorship, USG leadership along with notable television sportscaster, Greg Gumble, conducted a simulcast from Colorado Springs which streamed into 7 key USG cities across the country. The simulcast was followed by celebration parties in each city where USG sponsored athletes celebrated with USG.

To continue the excitement and heighten awareness, USG carried out a sponsorship activation platform pre, during and post the Winter Games. From a customized mobile app, daily sports inspired activities, contests, athlete appearances to a Sochi, Russia excursion- the new-found morale and increased sales across the organization proved the sponsorship strategy to be an overwhelming success.
