We fly for activations, A LOT. And there’s little we find more frustrating than sitting at an airport after a long day on our feet, getting the feeling our flight will be delayed but hearing nothing from the airline.
Google Flights just announced it will be using its artificial intelligence capabilities to predict delays and inform travelers before the airlines make an announcement.
How? In real time, AI, historical travel delay data and third-party aggregators will help flag potential delays and Google Flights will share the prediction when it’s reaches 80% confidence. The best part is an app won’t even be necessary to see flagged flights – just search your flight on Google and you’ll have your answer.
We’re on board with this new addition to Google Flights, even if we can’t be on board our planes.
