The NHL’s Arizona Coyotes sought to build and expand the reach of its fan base along with youth involvement in hockey in a region of the country where it is warm year round.
Legacy created and built a mobile tour to accompany a variety of events in the greater Phoenix area to help bring the excitement of the Coyotes to the community. A mixture of youth hockey events, family focused events and other community events were the main target of the tour. The tour included two connected, inflatable tents which housed the entire activation. The experience consisted of a virtual slap shot game, a digital draft card app where fans could get their own personal hockey card printed onsite and emailed to them as well as other interactive elements to help bring the game of hockey and culture of the Coyotes closer to the fans.
The digital draft card app was named "Best Sports Marketing Application" at the Internet Advertising Competition.
